OUR LIMITED TIME LAUNCH PROMO
BUTTON COVER VS. CUTOUT. LIMITED OFFER
At launch, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max Sheath and Synthesis feature a cutout for the new Action button that's replaced the mute switch. This cutout has been designed with wider dimensions and an asymmetric slope for super easy access to the new Action button (pictured here).

For those of you who prefer a button rather than a cutout, we've also got you covered. A version with a button for the Action button will be available in early October. The two versions are identical aside from that small difference.

Here's the cool part: if you purchase a Sheath or Synthesis for iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max by September 27, you'll receive the cutout version, AND you'll also be entitled to a complimentary button cover version once it's available in early October, if you're interested.

All you need to do is place an order by September 27. Then, just shoot us an email at support@caudabe.com with your order number. Our amazing Customer Support team will take care of the rest. You get to also keep the cutout version that you already have and love. No need to return anything. Yep, it's that easy!

BUTTON COVERS VS. CUTOUTS. WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?

Along the lines of our amazing Behind the Scenes: Journey to the iPhone 15  feature, we thought we'd share another glimpse into our design process. We designed a cutout on Sheath and Synthesis for the Action button for two reasons. First, many people simply prefer a cutout since cutouts provide direct button access. But, more importantly, since the Action button is a new feature, we wanted to ensure that our products wouldn't impair functionality in any way.

A little insight: we typically begin designing our cases 9-10 months before iPhones are released. Since Apple is always tight-lipped about features on their new iPhones, we make assumptions and decisions based on available information.

We knew that the mute switch would be replaced by the new Action button. What we didn't know was whether there was unique functionality for the Action button. So, we opted for a cutout that would make the Action button incredibly easy to access, while still protecting the contours of the phone. Now that Apple has announced their new iPhone 15 series, it turns out that the new Action button does indeed feature unique functionality. Among other things, the Action button provides varying degrees of haptic feedback. With a cutout, it's much easier to feel these distinctions with direct access to the button itself. And, since the Action button can be configured to perform functions that you might want to access as quickly as possible (say, muting your phone in a quiet room or pulling up the camera app to capture a fleeing moment), it'll be much easier to locate the Action button if it's nestled inside a cutout rather than discerning between three very similar buttons on that same side of the phone.

That said, we also recognized that some people may prefer a button cover, so we simultaneously prepared separate tooling for another version of Sheath and Synthesis that does include a button cover for the Action button. Both versions of cases are identical in every way, except that one simply has a cutout for the Action button and the other has a button cover.

The best part: by following the procedures at the top of this page, you need only order once to enjoy both versions.
