I've had Caudabe cases for almost forever. Started with the Veil then had the Sheath on my last three phones. I absolutely love the Sheath b/c it's unobtrusive while providing decent drop protection. For my new phone, I decided to stray from my usual black and got a silver iPhone 14 Pro and it seemed like a shame to cover it up with case (even one as nice as the Sheath). So I thought I'd try the Lucid clear. I did a ton of research and the Lucid clear seemed to always make the short-list of the best clear cases. Since I already love Caudabe, it wasn't much of a stretch to give it a go and I agree with the other reviews--it's awesome! Things that matter to me: there is a very light texture on the inside of the case that wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews I read. It makes it a little hard to clean but once it's on the phone you can't see it. I love the thinness of the case, which is why I chose this over the magsafe version. There is enough of a lip on the front of the phone (similar to the Sheath) that I feel it would protect the screen if dropped. Initially it was very slippery, but after a few days it's fine and provides a little more grip than using the phone without a case. I also love the feel of the case! I dislike the feel of other hard plastic clear cases, but the Lucid feels wonderful. Lastly, I wasn't sure if I liked the way the cutouts were done compared to the Apple case but on the phone they look fine and function well. I'm so happy with the Lucid Clear!
