This is the perfect case for a Max size iPhone for me. Everything else I have tried changes the feel of the phone too much -- making it too heavy/bulky. It seems plenty protective -- I just want to avoid scuffs. If anything major happens, I have AppleCare.

The downside is that I had this for about three months, and it stretched out, and became unusable -- it won't stay on the phone anymore. But, Caudabe warranty support is excellent, so I am trying again with a replacement.

As a person who prefers a light phone, this case is perfect for keeping basically the same weight for the 15 Pro Max. It is really thin to give off the minimalist feel. The button cutouts are precisely cut, and you do not need extra power to press them. One thing I do notice is that the phone case gets marked up really quickly. I can literally make a mark on the case with my fingernail and trying to rub off the mark, it would not come off. With the black case, you can't really see the marks from afar but once you view it closer it is really noticeable especially with light shining on it. Overall, it is still a really good case.

The price seems awfully high for how little there actually is to this case, but, I have had iPhones since the original in 2007, and I have to admit that this is the best case I have ever had. So I am not going to argue.

With AppleCare, I don't really feel the need for anything more protective – I mainly just want to avoid scratches. It is ultra thin, pleasing texture, and manufactured with great care so that everything lines up perfectly. I just went from the Pro to Pro Max, so having a thin case helps alleviate the increase in pocket bulk.

Some people like buttons on the case rather than openings – this case is thin enough that you don't miss them. Some people also don't like a lower lip on a case – if I was not also using a screen protector I would probably agree. But with one, the lip of this case feels better when swiping up than the edge of the glass protector when caseless.
