I love the Caudabe Synthesis. 1) it has amazing grippy dot matrix texture on both size, 2) it has a clear back which always is WAY more grippy that solid color plastic backs. Something about it allows it to better cling to your fingers and palm. That allows me to MUCH more easily one hand my large S25 Ultra phone. The combination of the textured sides and the clear back that allows it to not slide off my fingers while holding it make all the difference in being able to hand it comfortably.
I own other cases from the 'other' company that claims to have the 'world's grippiest' case. That grip case is VERY grippy but and it's a big but, you put stickers with cool graphics on the back or leave the back just blank black and so it just slides off your hand when try to one hand it. And while their super tiny texture is, in fact, very grippy it has the annoying habit of causing your pockets to turn inside out when you remove your phone.
With the Synthesis, you have a side grip that I'd argue is as good if not better AND it doesn't turn your pockets inside out when remove it from the pocket.
The other key thing I look for in a case is good front lip protection and the Sythensis has a good, firm, deep enough front lip that it should protect the screen from a front drop. Furthermore, the S Pen area is often where many cases fail to meet my expectations. They try to make it too easy to access the S Pen and in the process weaken that part of the case so it exposes the corner or front lip in that are to drops. Not the Synthesis, it still has a great S Pen opening yet is very firm and rigid enough to still provide strong protection for the S Pen corner of the phone.
There are only a couple things I'd change: 1) I wish the camera cutouts were individual like they are on the Sheath and Paragon cases and like the 'other' case manufacturer that has a Grip case and a Ghost case. I do still want some camera raised protection but it looks much better as individual cutouts instead of the P shape. 2) because of the P shape camera bump the case wobbles and doesn't like perfectly flat when on it's back. Something more like the Sheath where it has individual cutouts for the camera lenses but still offers camera lens protection because the lenses site recessed into the back of the case would be much preferred.
No case is perfect but the Pro's of this case WAY WAY WAY out weight the 2 minor nits that I have with the case. I'm sharing this more as feedback for how they could improve an already great case for next year's model. Oh and I guess coming out with the cases at or just after phone launch would be great.
I am very happy with this case overall and highly recommend it to anyone that wants a very grippy, comfortable to hold and one hand hold, protective case that shows off the color of your phone.
